AXIS M5013 and AXIS M5014 PTZ dome network cameras are a palm-sized, pan/tilt/zoom cameras that are affordably priced for remote and discreet monitoring of indoor areas such as stores, banks, hotels, office lobbies, restaurants and warehouses. The ultra-discreet AXIS M5013/M5014 measure only 13cm wide and 5.6cm high. The ceiling-mount AXIS M5013/M5014 enable flexible coverage over a 400 square meter area, with a +/-180° pan, 90° tilt and 3x digital zoom. The cameras help users remotely manage one or more business locations for improved profitability and on-site security. AXIS M5013 provides full frame rate video in SVGA 800x600 resolution. AXIS M5014 provides HDTV 720p which entails a 1280x720 resolution, progressive scan, HDTV color fidelity, full frame rate and a 16:9 format. They support multiple H.264 and Motion JPEG video streams. H.264 greatly optimizes bandwidth and storage use without compromising image quality. With an IP51 rating, the cameras are dustproof and protected from dripping water, enabling video to be taken even when a sprinkler system is activated. AXIS M5013/M5014 are designed for quick and easy installation. The cameras are powered with Power over Ethernet (PoE) using a PoE switch or midspan, which eliminates the need for power cables and reduces installation costs. The built-in microphone enables users to listen in remotely and audio to be recorded. Audio detection allows unusual sounds or noise detected during off-hours to trigger alarm events. The memory card slot enables several days of recording on a microSD/microSDHC/microSDXC card.
